Heidi has a mixture of corporate in-house and external search experience spanning 25 years making her a deep subject matter expert. She has covered the recruiting sphere from all angles and knows what it’s like to be in the shoes of the Hiring Manager as well as working closely with senior leadership teams from within the industry.

Heidi has placed over 500 individuals in corporate positions and prides herself on her substantial network and trusted long-term relationships within the Financial & Professional Services sector. She has forged deep relationships with many candidates over the course of their careers.

A VARIED CAREER JOURNEY...

Heidi accidentally fell into recruitment when an in-house Recruiter position came up at British Airways and then got a taste for agency recruitment on her travels and temp work across Australia.

Upon returning to London in 2000, Heidi joined Hays, became one of their top performers, was quickly promoted to Business Manager and led a team within a year. A personal career highlight at Hays was managing to make it onto one of their incentive trips and she will never forget being flown by helicopter from Cannes to Monte Carlo!

An in-house Corporate Recruiter opportunity came up with J.P. Morgan that shaped her whole career and she ultimately set up their in-house Executive Search function.

JPM inspired all of their employees to go above and beyond and Heidi was consistently rated an E performer during her 8 years with them.

In 2011 Heidi set up an Executive Talent Research business and JPM became one of her main clients.

After 11 years of recruiting talent for such a prestigious firm, Heidi says that JPM instilled in her a strong sense of service excellence which she still strives to achieve almost 10 years later.

In 2015 Heidi joined Citi and recruited for their front office Markets team for a couple of years, continuing to focus on senior hires and enjoying being back within industry.

A career highlight was a contract at Barclays in 2017, working alongside the Executive Search team, Heidi’s focus was on headhunting diverse employees internally within the Barclays Group to other divisions within the organisation.

For the last five years, Heidi has continued her career within Corporate Recruiter positions as well as recruiting from an external perspective.

More recently, Heidi completed a one-year contract for a SME global financial services firm and has been fortunate to spend some time again within the industry, especially in this post-pandemic market, to see first-hand exactly how the hiring landscape lies from within an organisation again.
